What’s with the NLP Stuff?

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming.  In short, programming the mind, using language.

“I cannot help what I think.”  …. Can’t you?  Really?

Sure, our minds follow ‘automatic’ paths and if we don’t control the thought routes, our minds will follow well trodden paths and it will seem as though we arrive at feelings, urges and actions automatically.  We can program our minds to follow different routes, with different results.

There are techniques to program our minds that we can control to do this are numerous, NLP, Hypnosis, Meditation, reading, thinking.  Things out of our control can cause changes in our thinking.  Major events in our lives, repeated advertising, strong words from others etc, all can change our thinking patterns.

NLP, Hypnosis and Meditation are more formal and predetermined tools we can use to change thinking with some purpose or major end goal in mind.  The three disciplines are very closely related and these days have been cross influenced by each other.  You will find Hypnotherapy employing NLP techniques and vice versa.  Meditation the same.

Just Some differences between the three.

  • Hypnosis and Meditation rely on trance states.
  • Meditation requires intense focus by yourself on one thing leaving the subconscious open to suggestions.
  • Hypnosis relies on the hypnotist’s suggestions to engage the mind and keep the subject focused.
  • NLP uses subtle language techniques in getting messages to the sub-conscious and does not rely on deep trance states to do so.

While I call the program an NLP-Based Fast Diet Program, you will find elements of Hypnosis and Meditation in the program.

A few things to keep in mind when you do the Program:

  • The exercises are subtle, so sometimes they seem silly or simple.  Don’t just read them.  It won’t have any effect.  Do the exercises. They work when you do them because it is only when you ‘walk the path’ in your mind that it works.
  • Have fun with it.  You are not in church.
  • Doing them in a group will help tremendously.  Let one person read the guidelines while others follow.

The Program will demonstrate to you this week how to lose 10 pounds in a week.  It is meant to be used together with the PHEN375 Diet pill and the Diet to lose 10 pounds in a week.
